PESHAWAR: A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter scale was felt in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The tremor originated at a depth of 17 kilometers, with its epicenter located approximately 17 kilometers northwest of Mingora in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officials have reported that the earthquake was mild in intensity, and there are no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

Residents in nearby areas felt the tremors briefly, and some chose to step outside their homes as a precaution. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation, while citizens have been advised to remain alert for possible aftershocks.
