PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has promoted 52 Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors to higher positions in the NAB hierarchy.
Four Deputy Directors have been promoted to Grade 19 as Additional Directors. The promoted officials include Malik Waheed Ahmed, Miru Usaf Ahmed Talpur, Muhammad Sabir Khan, and Muhammad Asif Munir.
At Grade 18 level, the following officials have been promoted to higher positions in NAB:
Shazia Nawaz, Waqar Ahmed, Muhammad Hassan, Adnan Faisal, Sher Allah, Farhan Nadeem, Moaz Ahmed Malik, Mohsin Sultan, Abdul Rehman, Hikmat Yar Malik, Muhammad Waqar Ul Haq, Rabia Ikram, Azmat Ullah, Wali Ullah, Hafiz Usman Ali, Muhammad Kashif Sheikh, Maysh Noorain, Haider Qayyum, Bilal Khan, Muhammad Adil Shehzad, Ramsha Khan, Muhammad Aziz, Mohsin Ali Khan, Waheed Ahmed, and Muhammad Kamran Khan.
According to NAB officials, the promotion of officials in NAB will help to build internal capacity in the country. The process of accountability will be made more efficient. Transparency will be ensured in the system. The rule of law will be maintained in the country.
KP government reshuffles senior officers
Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has transferred several senior officers across cadres of different departments.
According to a notification from the Establishment Department, Shama Naimat, a PMS officer (BS-19), has been transferred from her current position. Previously, she served as the Director of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Charities Commission under the Home and Tribal Affairs Department. She has now been appointed to the important role of Director of Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Furthermore, the Establishment Department’s notification indicated additional changes related to these transfers. Muhammad Tariq, also a PMS officer (BS-19), has been transferred from his role as Director of Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control. He will now serve as the Director of Local Government for the Merged Districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
