Pakistan security forces have launched a decisive strike on key terrorist and military facilities in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The targets of the operation were the 205 Al-Badr Special Forces Headquarters and the Police Headquarters in the region.

Security sources confirmed that the Pakistani forces used accurate mortar fire in this operation, which has resulted in significant damage to the enemy’s positions. Several militant hubs have been destroyed in this operation, disrupting the activities of terrorist groups in this region.

These hubs in Kandahar have been used for terrorist activities, and this operation by the Pakistani forces has been aimed at strengthening border security and eliminating terrorist groups in this region. This operation is a part of the Pakistani government’s efforts to eliminate terrorism and remain in control in this region.

The operation launched by Pakistani forces in this region has been termed highly effective and decisive, and the enemy’s operational capabilities have been severely disrupted.

Security forces kill Afghan commander Nusratullah in major operation

Earlier, a fierce exchange of gunfire and artillery took place between security forces and the Afghan Taliban in the Kharlachi area along the Pak-Afghan border. As a result, a key Afghan Taliban commander, Nusratullah, also known as Kochi, was killed.

According to sources, this clash occurred on March 3, 2026, with both sides using heavy weapons due to a border dispute or provocation. The strong retaliation from the Pakistani security forces, including artillery fire, reportedly led to the death of Nusratullah Kochi, the Taliban commander.

Border sources indicate that the situation in the area remains tense following this clash, and security forces are currently on high alert.
