CHARSADDA: Two persons including a girl and boy killed in the name of honor in Mian Kali village on Saturday morning.
According to police sources, this shocking incident took place in the Mian Kali area under the limits of Praang police station. According to initial investigations, the accused suspected that his niece was having an illicit relationship with a youth from the village. Based on this suspicion, the accused got angry and opened fire, as a result of which both the girl and the youth died on the spot.
Police action and FIR As soon as the information about the incident was received, a heavy contingent of police reached the spot. Police say two separate FIRs have been registered in the incident.
The accused managed to escape from the scene after the incident and raids are being conducted to arrest him. The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to the heirs after necessary legal proceedings.
The district police administration says that investigations have been started from various aspects of the incident and the accused will soon be brought to justice. Panic has spread in the area after this incident.
