PESHAWAR: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced financial support for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) long march.

Gandapur said he would personally hand over the funds to KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi at the PTI secretariat tomorrow.

He also said he would bear the expenses of all participants accompanying his convoy during the march.

According to Gandapur, transport arrangements had been difficult, prompting him to provide security deposits to vehicle owners. He said he had deposited Rs1.5 million as a security amount for each vehicle and had provided transport-related security worth up to Rs30 million.

Gandapur said he would continue to cover the expenses associated with his convoy and its participants.
