QUETTA: A controversial narrative has emerged following the suicide bombing near the Chaman Gate area of Quetta, with competing claims about the identity and background of the attacker and renewed debate over missing persons allegations.
According to local media reports, the banned outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack and allegedly identified the suspected suicide bomber as Bilal Shahwani. These claims have not been independently verified by authorities.
