DHAKA: Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bomb attack in Quetta, Pakistan, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives and left several others injured.

In a statement, he extended condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the swift recovery of those injured. He strongly condemned terrorism and violence in all forms, reaffirming solidarity with the people of Pakistan during this difficult time.

However, it is important to note that Tarique Rahman is the chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and not the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, as sometimes incorrectly stated in circulated messages.

The statement reflects ongoing regional concern over terrorist incidents and the broader call for unity against violence and extremism.
