ANGOOR ADDA: Pakistani security forces provided medical assistance to an ailing Afghan woman before facilitating her return to her family through the Angoor Adda border crossing.

According to official sources, the woman was found near the border during a period of heightened tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. After taking her into protective custody, security personnel provided first aid, food, rest and other essential assistance to stabilize her condition.

According to the same sources, tribal elders oversaw the arrangements for her return, and the woman was subsequently handed over to her family at the Angoor Adda border gate. She was also provided with financial assistance and gifts before her departure, the sources added.

Sources claimed that Afghan authorities pushed the woman towards the Pakistan border irrespective of her illness. This information has not yet been verified independently and Afghan officials have not responded to this claim.
