PESHAWAR: Islamabad Capital Territory and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience mixed weather conditions today, Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Islamabad will remain sunny and clear throughout the day. The maximum temperature is likely to reach 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be 19 degrees.
There is only a two percent chance of rain in the federal capital. Air Quality Index in Islamabad was recorded at 114, which is unhealthy for sensitive groups. Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is likely to receive more rain and thunderstorms.
According to the forecast, there is a 57 percent chance of rain in Peshawar and adjoining districts including Mardan, Charsadda, Swabi and Nowshera. Upper districts of the province may also experience strong winds and hailstorms.
Heavy rain lashed Islamabad and Rawalpindi yesterday, disrupting traffic and prompting WASA to declare a rain emergency. Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures while travelling in KP due to expected rainfall.
