As the summer travel season reaches its peak, Pakistani passport holders can travel to 30 destinations without obtaining a traditional visa in advance, according to the latest Henley Passport Index released in July 2026.
The index shows that Pakistan’s passport is currently ranked 100th globally, slipping from 97th place earlier this year. The passport had improved from 98th in January to 97th in February, while it was ranked 103rd in 2025, reflecting ongoing changes in international visa policies.
Pakistani travellers can visit a number of destinations through visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival (VOA) or electronic travel authorisation (ETA) facilities. These options allow eligible travellers to enter participating countries without securing a conventional visa before departure.
Among the destinations accessible under these arrangements are the Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Rwanda, Seychelles, Barbados, Dominica, Haiti, Vanuatu and Trinidad and Tobago, along with several others across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific region.
The availability of visa-friendly travel options offers Pakistani tourists greater flexibility when planning international trips during the busy summer holiday season, despite the country’s relatively low position in the global passport rankings.
