PESHAWAR: The Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice S.M. Atique Shah has promoted 13 judges to District & Sessions Judge (Grade 21).
After the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee of the Registrar PHC, the Chief Justice gave formal approval to promote Additional Sessions Judges serving in Grade 20 to Sessions Judge Grade 21.
According to the notification issued by the Registrar Peshawar High Court in this regard, these promoted Additional Sessions Judges have been immediately promoted to the post of District & Sessions Judge / District Qazi.
The promoted Additional Sessions Judges include Bakht Alam, Wajid Ali Khan, Rahatullah, Amjad Hussain, Muhammad Tahir Aurangzeb, Muhammad Khan, Iftikhar Elahi, Liaqat Ali, Kashif Dilawar, Muhammad Zeb Khan, Mian Mahmood, Nusrat Naz, and Arbab Sohail Hamid.
Transfer and posting in various govt departments announced
Earlier, the federal government has issued orders for the appointments and transfers of officers, making important administrative changes at bureaucracy level.
According to the notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Iftikhar Ahmed Khan has been appointed as Deputy Secretary Cabinet Division and Muhammad Naqeeb Ahmed as Deputy Secretary Maritime Affairs Division.
Thus, the current Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Zafar Iqbal, has been removed from his post and directed to report to the Establishment Division.
According to the notification, the services of Grade 19 officer Azmat Ali, who was awaiting appointment, have now been handed over to the Council of Common Interests (CCI) Secretariat.
