SWAT: Husband involved in Wife’s killing gunned down in police encounter Swat, when he allegedly opened fire at the police to avoid arrest.
According to Swat police spokesman, the accused Muhammad Saeed son of Muhammad Saeed, resident of Khori area, Matta, was accused of killing his wife on June 13, 2025.
A case of murder was registered at FIR No. 132, Matta police station. Police said the accused had killed his wife in Khori area of Matta on June 13 and dumped her body in a cemetery. The accused was absconding after the incident.
On receiving the information, a police team led by SHO Police station Matta took action to arrest the accused. When police arrived, the suspect opened fire instead of being arrested.
According to the spokesman, the body of the deceased accused has been taken into custody and legal proceedings are being completed. Police say they will ensure justice is served to the victim’s legacy. Security has been tightened in the area following the incident.
