‎Gold prices in Pakistan continued to trade at elevated levels on Saturday, with 24-karat gold reaching Rs. 424,500 per tola according to the latest data from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems & Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

‎As of 1:00 PM on July 18, 2026, one gram of 24K gold was priced at Rs. 36,395, while 22K gold, the most widely used for jewellery, stood at Rs. 389,122 per tola and Rs. 33,362 per gram.

‎Market analysts said the rise tracks the global gold rally, where spot gold traded near $4,023 per ounce. Local rates are also influenced by the USD/PKR exchange rate, currently around Rs. 278.

‎Sarafa dealers noted that the quoted rates are for raw gold only. Making charges and GST are extra. Making charges range from 1-3% for gold bars to 15-25% for handmade jewellery.

‎City-wise, rates showed minor variations. In Karachi, 24K gold was quoted around Rs. 495,000 per tola, while Lahore and Islamabad reported Rs. 494,500 and Rs. 494,200 respectively.
