The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market continues to witness a downward trend for the fourth consecutive day.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by another Rs1,800 on Wednesday, bringing the new rate to Rs453,936, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,544, settling at Rs389,176. Also, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a decline of Rs1,416 to be sold for Rs356,757.
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by $18, reaching $4,314 per ounce. Silver prices also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver declined by Rs30 to be available at Rs7,008. Similarly, the rate of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs25 and was sold for Rs6,008.
