ISLAMABAD: Following downward trends in the global market, gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a further decrease, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs 1,800 bringing the new rate down to Rs 455,736.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 1,543, settling at Rs 390,720. The downward trend extended to precious metals locally, with silver prices experiencing a drop of Rs 62, bringing the per-tola rate down to Rs 7,038.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a downward correction, falling by $18 to stand at $4,433 per ounce.
