ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the admission schedule for its Fall Semester 2026, with enrolment opening from July 1 across Pakistan and selected international regions.
As per university officials, admissions would be provided in programs right from Matriculation to PhD in different fields under the distance education system.
Admissions in various courses of study would be provided in all four provinces, along with Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and the northern areas. In addition, students residing abroad and international applicants could apply for selected academic courses of study.
In this regard, university officials revealed that admission forms and prospectuses of all programs would be uploaded online from July 1 via its official website to enable them to fill out online admission forms.
Meanwhile, AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood has issued special directives to the directors of 53 regional centres located across the country.
In accordance with the directive, student facilitation desks would be established before the commencement of admissions procedure at all regional centres. While these desks would guide them regarding the application process, computers along with internet access would be provided freely to help them fill online admission forms.
