PESHAWAR (Salman Yousafzai): The Provincial Inspection Team has officially initiated an inquiry into alleged financial and administrative irregularities at the University of Malakand.
In connection with the investigation, the Secretary of the Higher Education Department has dispatched a formal letter to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Malakand.
Accompanying the correspondence is a questionnaire consisting of nine specific questions. The university administration has been directed to submit a comprehensive reply to the Provincial Inspection Team on May 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
According to the instructions, the response must be submitted through a BPS-18 or higher-ranking officer.
The university has also been directed to present all relevant records and evidence at the time of the hearing. The primary objective of the inquiry is to investigate the reported financial and administrative irregularities and determine the facts of the matter.
Authorities have issued instructions to handle this correspondence on an immediate and priority basis.
