ISLAMABAD: Registration for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Programme, an educational stipend initiative under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), is a straightforward process, according to the programme guidelines.

To register a child for the programme, the child’s mother must be eligible for the Benazir Kafaalat Programme, while the child must have a B-Form issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

Parents or guardians seeking registration should take the child to the nearest BISP Tehsil Office and provide the child’s B-Form along with the mobile phone number already registered in the BISP records.

After registration, the applicant will receive an enrollment slip, which must be completed and verified by the child’s school.

The enrollment slip requires details including the child’s class and section, the class teacher’s name, the head teacher’s signature and other required information. Once completed, the slip must be submitted back to the relevant BISP Tehsil Office.

After the necessary verification process is completed, the child’s educational stipend will be released.

To continue receiving the stipend, the child must maintain at least 70% attendance at school.
