The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has issued important instructions for eligible women seeking to obtain free SIM cards under the programme.
BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid has also issued an awareness message to guide beneficiaries about the process, according to the programme’s spokesperson.
Eligible women have been advised to visit their nearest BISP office with their original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and personal mobile phone to obtain the free Benazir SIM.
The administration has cautioned beneficiaries against obtaining or activating the SIM through any franchise, retailer or unauthorised person.
According to the spokesperson, the entire process of issuing and activating the free SIM will be carried out only through designated official BISP offices.
