ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has issued an important directive for its registered women beneficiaries, urging those with expired national identity cards to renew them immediately to avoid difficulties in receiving their quarterly payments.
BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid directed beneficiaries whose Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) have expired to visit their nearest National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) centre without delay and complete the renewal process.
She emphasized that keeping CNICs valid is essential to ensure that eligible women do not face delays, inconvenience or other difficulties in receiving their quarterly stipends.
The directive applies to BISP beneficiaries whose CNIC expiry dates have passed.
BISP officials have advised affected beneficiaries to complete the renewal process at the earliest to avoid potential problems with future disbursements.
