Counter terrorism police killed six militants during a joint search operation in the outskirt areas of Lower Dir on Wednesday.
According to ARY News, CTD and local police conducted this joint operation in Lower Dir. During the operation, Kalashnikovs and three hand grenades were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
According to the CTD spokesperson, three of the slain terrorists have been identified as Khalil-ur-Rehman, Najmuddin, and Kifayatullah, while the others were not identified. CTD said that the suspects were involved in several terrorist incidents, including the Dawan Pul police post attack.
Search operations are underway to arrest the terrorists’ escaped accomplices. Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised CTD KP and police for killing 6 terrorists in Lower Dir and appreciated their professionalism.
Mohsin Naqvi says that the brave sons of CTD and police foiled the evil intentions of the Khawarijis. The nation is proud of the brave soldiers of CTD and the police.
