The UAE Ministry of Defence has confirmed that Iran has fired 4 cruise missiles into Emirati territory, after which tensions in the region have become extremely serious.
According to Emirati officials, and Arab media, the defence system destroyed three Iranian missiles in the air, while one missile fell into the sea. Security has been put on high alert across the country immediately after the attack.

According to Reuters news agency, a fire broke out at a petroleum industrial site after Iran’s drone attack in Fujairah. According to Arab media reports, flight operations at Dubai and Sharjah airports have been completely suspended in view of the situation arising after the attacks and several flights are being diverted to alternative routes.
