Samsung has launched its new mid-range smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A37 and Samsung Galaxy A57, in Pakistan, featuring significant upgrades in design, performance, camera, and software. Both phones are equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that offers Full HD Plus resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate to enhance the scrolling and gaming experience.
The Galaxy A57 specifically features a 6.9 mm-thin metal frame and an IP68 rating, providing enhanced resistance against water and dust. In terms of performance, the Galaxy A57 is powered by an Exynos 1680 processor based on 4nm technology, while the Galaxy A37 utilises the Exynos 1480 chipset. Both devices run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, with Samsung promising up to 6 years of software updates.
The camera setups on both devices include a 50-megapixel main camera designed for improved night photography and a 12-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. For wide-angle shots, the Galaxy A57 is equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide lens, whereas the Galaxy A37 features an 8MP ultra-wide lens; both models also include a 5MP macro camera. Additionally, the Galaxy A57 introduces advanced AI features such as Best Face, Auto Trim, Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription. Powering these features is a 5,000mAh battery in both models, which supports 45W fast charging capable of reaching a 60% charge in roughly 30 minutes.
In Pakistan, the Samsung Galaxy A37 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced starting at Rs 149,999. The Galaxy A57 starts at Rs 166,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the higher-end 12GB RAM versions with 256GB or 512GB of storage are priced at Rs 184,999.
