South Korean company Samsung has once again proven its superiority in the world of technology, where in the third week of 2026, the company’s unreleased smartphone broke all records of popularity even before its formal launch and captured the first position.

In the latest list released regarding the interest and search for smartphones in the global market, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G has been declared the most popular phone in the world, while the interesting thing is that this phone has not yet been formally offered for sale.

If we look at this week’s top ten list, along with Samsung’s dominance, the strong influence of the Chinese company Xiaomi is also visible. According to the list, the Samsung Galaxy A56 was in second place, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G took third place. Similarly, Xiaomi’s Poco M8 Pro is in fourth place and Samsung’s last year’s flagship model Galaxy S25 Ultra is in fifth place.

Apple, which is considered one of the most expensive brands in the world, was slightly behind in this race, where the iPhone 17 Pro Max managed to secure the sixth position. In the rest of the list, Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro is in seventh place, Infinix Note Edge 5G is in eighth place, Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 5G is in ninth place, and Samsung Galaxy A17 is in tenth place.

Tech experts said that this extraordinary popularity before the release of the Galaxy S26 Ultra shows that consumers are eagerly waiting for Samsung’s upcoming new technology and potential features. This list makes it clear that where flagship phones are in the market, the same mid-priced A-series and Redmi phones are also the centre of attention of consumers.
