ATTOCK: Punjab Police Saturday arrested eight activists of PTI for removing security containers and pulling out nails from the road at Attock Bridge while filming TikTok videos of the activity.
According to police sources, the law enforcement agencies initiated a swift operation after a video went viral on social media. The footage showed the political workers tampering with state-installed security devices and clearing obstacles placed on the bridge.
Using the viral video to identify the individuals, police traced and apprehended all eight suspects. The arrested individuals have been handed over to the police and initiated formal legal proceedings against them.
Police officials stated that strict legal action is being taken against the suspects for damaging government property, interfering with state security protocols, and violating public order. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
