ISLAMABAD: Significant progress has been reported in the ongoing ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran, with the final draft of the proposed agreement expected to be announced soon.
According to Arab media reports, diplomatic channels are actively engaged in finalizing the agreement, and a key Pakistani official may visit Tehran in the coming days. During this visit, it is expected that the final draft of the deal could be formally unveiled after consultations with the Iranian leadership.
It has been learned that the upcoming round of talks between the two nations is set to take place in Islamabad post-Eid, with Pakistan facilitating talks between the two countries.
As per reports, the Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has visited Iran for the second time within a span of just 24 hours, discussing matters in connection with the peace talks currently underway.
In addition to this, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, has made clear that a cease-fire agreement will soon be reached with Iran. Even the attack plans he had against Tehran have been cancelled after Tuesday.
The upcoming discussions in Islamabad are expected to focus on finalizing terms and ensuring compliance mechanisms, with both sides emphasizing the need for diplomacy to avoid escalation in the region.
