LAHORE: Police in Lahore’s Islampura area have declared the mysterious death of TikToker and beautician Arshma a suicide, following an initial assessment of evidence gathered from the crime scene.
According to local media reports, the police claimed that Arshma reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside apartment number 203 of Ahmad Hostel, where she was residing in alone after leasing the flat just a while ago.
The body of the TikToker has been handed over to her family after the post-mortem investigation, and the biological samples have been sent for forensic testing. The police revealed that further steps will be taken after receiving the final forensic report.
The body of the young content creator was found inside her flat a few days ago, initiating a preliminary police investigation into the cause of her death.

Sometimes ago, a young TikToker in Swat died while reportedly filming a video when a pistol he was handling accidentally went off. The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Abu Bakar, a resident of the Shaheen Abad area of Saidu Sharif.
According to police, Abu Bakar accidentally shot himself while recording a video for TikTok. Police reached the scene after receiving information about the incident and shifted his body to Central Hospital Saidu Sharif.
The incident has once again highlighted concerns over dangerous stunts being performed for social media content and the risks people can face in the pursuit of viral videos.
