RAWALPINDI: A local court has granted a four-day physical remand of two alleged shooters arrested in connection with the murder of TikToker Shamsu Bibi known as Ayesha Gilamana, handing them over to police for further investigation.

The suspects were produced before Area Magistrate Muhammad Asif Iqbal during a hearing of the case. On the request of the investigating officer, the court approved their four-day physical remand to allow police to conduct further investigations and collect evidence related to the killing.

Separately, the court ordered the father, brother and uncle of the deceased, who were arrested over allegations of involvement in planning the murder, to be sent to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand.

According to police sources, Ayesha Gilamana was allegedly targeted and killed in a planned shooting on August 14. Investigators said the suspects allegedly carried out the attack as part of a premeditated plan.

Police said investigations into the case are continuing from multiple angles and that all relevant evidence will be presented before the court as the proceedings move forward.

Authorities are also investigating the alleged roles of all arrested suspects to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing and establish responsibility for the crime.
