MARDAN: The poor academic performance of a government girls’ high school in Mardan has come to light following the announcement of the annual matriculation examination results.
According to Mashriq TV report, Government Girls High School Mohib Banda recorded a disappointing outcome in the Class 9 examinations, with only three out of 59 students successfully passing the exams.
The results have raised concerns over the school’s academic performance and highlighted challenges affecting students’ educational progress.
Mardan Board announces Matric Annual Exam 2026 Results
Earlier, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mardan has announced the results of the Matric Annual Examinations 2026, according to which the overall success rate was 85.32 percent.
According to the results, the students of Girls Cadet College Mardan dominated the field in the science group and took all three positions. Maheen Ayub, a student of Girls Cadet College Mardan, secured the first position by securing 1171 marks.
Sameera Imran, a student of the same college, secured the second position by securing 1166 marks, while Fiza Zaman secured the third position by securing 1165 marks. In the Arts Group, Ayesha Sajjad, a student of Government Higher Secondary School Akbarpura Nowshera, secured the first position by scoring 1092 marks.
Hajra Qasim, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Dak Ismailzai Nowshera, secured the second position by scoring 1072 marks. While Momina, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Jahangira, secured the third position by scoring 1069 marks.
According to Mardan Board officials, a ceremony will also be held to encourage successful students and position holders.
