ISLAMABAD: The government has reduced the prices of petroleum products with the Petroleum Division issuing a notification for the revised rates effective from August 7.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs3.19 per litre, bringing the new petrol price down to Rs329.82 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been cut by Rs1.50 per litre, after which the new diesel price will stand at Rs382.36 per litre.
The revised petroleum prices will come into effect from August 7, following the government’s periodic review of fuel rates.
