QUETTA: Security forces have conducted a successful search and sanitization operation in the Kambela and Asimabad areas on the outskirts of Quetta under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, killing 10 terrorists and clearing a 68-square-kilometre area.

According to officials, 10 terrorists were eliminated during the operation, while the bodies of two militants were recovered. Three to four others, including alleged terrorist commander Shaukat Mama, were injured during the action.

Security forces also detained 12 suspected individuals as part of the operation.

Officials said the operation targeted suspected hideouts of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which they described as linked to the “Fitna al-Hindustan” network. Several suspected hideouts were destroyed, and flags associated with the militant group were removed from the area.

Security officials reiterated that Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 will continue with full force until the complete elimination of terrorism from the region.
