ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday predicted heavy rain coupled with thunderstorms in the northern regions of the country, including Islamabad, while the plains will remain hot and dry.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is anticipated in several cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and the Potohar region. Additionally, rain accompanied by strong winds is forecasted for upper and southeastern Punjab, as well as Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Conversely, the weather in other areas of the country is predicted to remain hot and dry.
Yesterday, the highest temperature was recorded in Jiwani at 46 degrees Celsius, while Mohenjo-daro reached 44 degrees Celsius, and Larkana recorded 43 degrees Celsius.
