LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the ticket details for the important Pakistan Super League (PSL) qualifier match to be played at the National Bank Stadium Karachi on Tuesday.
Keeping in mind the excitement of cricket fans, the PCB has decided to keep the ticket price very low, under which the ticket price for each enclosure of the stadium has been fixed at just Rs 500 so that maximum fans can come to the stadium and watch the match.
According to the PCB, fans can buy e-tickets for the cricket qualifier match online from tonight from the PCB’s official website. Fans holding e-tickets have been given the facility that they can scan the ticket on their mobile phone to enter the stadium or can also get entry by showing a printout of it.
Fans who want to buy physical tickets will be able to get tickets from the TCS Box Office located at China Ground opposite the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from tomorrow morning.
After the qualifier match in Karachi, fans are also eager for the eliminator matches scheduled in Lahore on April 29 and May 1. The PCB is also likely to release the ticket details for these matches to be held in Lahore soon, for which arrangements are being finalized.
It should be noted that after the Prime Minister allowed spectators in the play-off matches, the cricket craze among fans has reached its peak again.
Historic first: PSL introduces Pashto commentary in fan-centric move
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Super League has introduced Pashto commentary for the first time in its history, marking a significant step toward greater regional inclusion in the popular cricket league.
In partnership with Peshawar Zalmi, this service will be provided through a digital platform in all upcoming matches for the season featuring the team.
The objective of this decision is to involve more people, especially those speaking the Pashto language, in the league by bringing them closer through commentary in their own language.
In the coming match, Peshawar Zalmi will play againLst Islamabad. If they win the game, then they will make it to the final game; otherwise, they will go straight to the elimination game.
The final game of PSL Season 11 will take place on May 3 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
PCB opens all PSL matches to spectators
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that spectators will now be allowed to attend all three playoff matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), following formal approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The decision was confirmed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi after a meeting with the Prime Minister. While granting permission for public attendance, the Premier emphasised that the move must align with the government’s ongoing national austerity drive. Consequently, fans are strongly encouraged to utilise public transport or adopt measures to minimise fuel consumption while travelling to the stadiums.
Prime Minister Sharif also extended his best wishes to the four teams competing in the playoffs. This development ensures a full stadium atmosphere for the crucial final stages of the tournament, balancing public interest with the country’s resource conservation efforts.
