PESHAWAR: Prominent Urologist Dr Asif Malik was seriously injured when armed persons opened firing on him near his house last Tuesday night.
The incident occurred when he was on way to home situated on circular Road Town when armed persons attacked him with gun firing. He sustained several bullets on his body and shifted to Hospital in serious condition.
Dr Asif Malik is one among the prominent urologist of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and he was also remained head of the MTI Khyber Teaching Hospital. Patients and colleagues have strongly denounced attack on Dr Asif Malik and demanded security for doctors community.
