PESHAWAR: All public and private educational institutions across Peshawar will remain closed on Monday, October 12, 2026, according to an official notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
The closure will apply to all educational institutions within the territorial jurisdiction of District Peshawar, including schools, colleges and universities in both the public and private sectors.
The notification, issued on October 11, 2026, under reference number 521/DC(P)/AG-I/Holiday, directs that all covered educational institutions suspend activities for the day.
The order has been signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar and applies to educational facilities throughout the district.
Students, parents, teachers and educational institutions have been advised to take note of the announcement and make arrangements accordingly.
The notification specifically covers educational institutions located within Peshawar district. No information regarding closures in other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was included in the order.
