Pakistan refuted information circulating on social media that 1.5 billion dollars defense agreement cancelled with Sudan after Saudi Arabia objection.

There have been frequent reports in international and local media that the $1.5 billion defense deal with Sudan has been “on hold” or “suspended”.

These reports have rejected by the Pakistani government, and security sources and it was declared fake news that Saudi Arabia has refused to provide financial support for the deal, after which the process has stalled. This is not a “rejected by Pakistan” news, but rather a diplomatic and defense development that has been kept quiet at the official level.

“Pakistan has denied this news and said it does not seem to be true as no step has been taken in this regard.

Recently, international news agencies Reuters, citing security and diplomatic sources, claimed that a $1.5 billion defense deal between Pakistan and Sudan has been put on hold.
