MIRAN SHAH: The district administration of North Waziristan on Saturday imposed curfew in the disrict for Sunday so that to ensure the safe movement of security forces across the region.
According to the official announcement, troop movements are scheduled between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Authorities have urged residents to restrict unnecessary travel during these hours and extend full cooperation to law enforcement agencies to maintain public peace and prevent any untoward incidents.
The administration said that all kinds of public movement is prohibited from 12:00 AM (midnight) to 5:00 AM. Moreover, it warned that non-compliance with the order could result in legal action, instructing residents to remain indoors and follow government directives throughout the curfew hours.
The district administration appealed to the public to cooperate with the authorities and follow the security-related instructions.
