KHUZDAR:Nine terrorists were killed last night in Sorab, near Khuzdar, when a vehicle-borne suicide bomb they were preparing exploded prematurely, security sources said on August 12, 2026.
According to the update, FAH terrorists were assembling the explosives in Sorab when the vehicle detonated. Nine terrorists were killed in the explosion.
Officials said nearby houses were also damaged in the blast. Casualties among civilians residing in the area have been reported, though the exact number is yet to be confirmed.
Levies and security forces have reached the site. Operations are underway to apprehend fleeing terrorists and their facilitators in the surrounding areas.
Authorities said the hunt is continuing as part of ongoing operations in Balochistan to dismantle terrorist networks.
