PESHAWAR: District Population Welfare Officer Peshawar Sami Ullah Khan Khail directed that special Independence Day celebrations be organized at all Family Welfare Centres across the district in connection with Pakistan’s 74th Independence Day.
A monthly performance review meeting of Family Welfare Counsellors, Field Technical Officers, and In-Charges of all Family Welfare Centres across Peshawar district was held under the chairmanship of District Population Welfare Officer Peshawar, Sami Ullah Khan Khil.
Kashif Fida, Shahid Murad, and other concerned officers and officials attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed in detail the performance of Family Welfare Centres during the previous month, particularly the family planning services provided to the public. Discussions were also held on improving the quality and effectiveness of public services, family planning initiatives, and ongoing activities of the Population Welfare Department.
On the occasion, District Population Welfare Officer Peshawar Sami Ullah Khan Khil directed that special Independence Day celebrations be organized at all Family Welfare Centres across the district in connection with Pakistan’s 74th Independence Day
He directed the concerned officials to decorate all Family Welfare Centres in Peshawar district with national flags and national colours and organize special awareness activities to promote the spirit and significance of Independence Day among the public.
Sami Ullah Khan Khail said that Independence Day provides an opportunity to renew the national commitment to the ideals behind the creation of Pakistan, national unity, solidarity, and the country’s progress and development.
He further said that the Population Welfare Department Peshawar would actively participate in Independence Day celebrations and make every effort to promote national awareness, patriotism, unity, and a sense of responsibility among the people.
