ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced new job opportunities for IT and telecom professionals across Pakistan.
According to details, these new jobs include Deputy Assistant Director, Junior DevOps Engineer, Junior Infrastructure Engineer, VAS Operations, Network Engineer-Core and System Administrator. Candidates with at least 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields can apply.
Applicants must have degrees from HEC-recognised universities, and their qualifications must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The jobs require 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience, making them suitable for fresh graduates and early-career IT professionals. The maximum age limit is 30 years.
For the Junior DevOps Engineer position, candidates should know about web servers, Git, CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages, Docker, Kubernetes, databases and cloud environments. The Junior Infrastructure Engineer position requires knowledge of servers, storage, networking, Linux, Windows and virtualisation technologies.
The VAS Operations role is related to telecom and voice systems. Candidates should have knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, networking and Linux, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting. The Network Engineer-Core position involves nationwide connectivity, routing, IP addressing and network monitoring. Knowledge of technologies such as SDN and SD-WAN is also required.
For the System Administrator position, candidates should have knowledge of data centre infrastructure, Linux and Windows systems, servers, virtualisation, TCP/IP networking and information security. Experience in managing cloud-based systems will be an added advantage. Interested candidates must apply online through NADRA’s careers portal. The last date to apply is October 4, 2026.
