ISLAMABAD: Field Marshal Asim Munir, has issued a strong message to Afghanistan, which is rapidly spreading on social media. He warned that double standards in the region cannot be accepted if peace and stability are to be maintained.
Field Marshal said Afghanistan must decide whether to priorities friendly relations and cooperation with Pakistan or continue supporting the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He added that groups like the TTP threaten not only Pakistan but also Afghanistan’s own security.
The message comes as the Pakistan Armed Forces continue Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq against Taliban militants, targeting their hideouts and eliminating threats across the border.
