MUZAFFARABAD: A significant alleged plan to disrupt law and order in Azad Kashmir and incite mischief has been uncovered. A new audio recording involving two key members of the banned Joint Action Committee, Hameed Kashmiri and Sajid Azam, surfaced on social media, revealing their claims of being a peaceful organization to be unfounded. The leak has raised serious concerns among security and political circles in the valley.
In the recorded conversation, Sajid Azam, an operative of the banned committee, boasts about having 500 armed men ready for action. He discusses alarming and unlawful intentions, such as advancing toward Rawalakot and forcibly entering the area to release captured comrades.
The audio clearly outlines plans to organize and transport these groups to specific locations. Azam’s comments reflect a brutal mentality, stating that people keep dying.
Experts have reacted strongly to this audio leak, asserting that it has thoroughly exposed the so-called peaceful facade of the Joint Action Committee.
They believe Azam’s claim of having 500 armed individuals is an exaggeration, underscoring the falsehoods and emptiness of this group’s narrative. However, such discussions indicate their anarchistic mindset.
Experts further argue that the leadership of this organization has no intention of pursuing a democratic or constitutional path; rather, their sole aim is to create chaos in the region.
This, in turn, aims to erode the local peoples trust in the state, thereby strengthening India’s narrative. Public and social circles have urged the government and law enforcement agencies to take immediate and stringent action against these armed groups and to punish the outlawed leaders of this movement to the fullest extent of the law, ensuring the maintenance of peace in the region.
