ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a fresh revision in petroleum product prices following recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
According to a press release issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs2.24 per litre, raising its new price from Rs388.38 to Rs390.62 per litre.
The government has provided limited relief to consumers by reducing the price of petrol by Rs0.75 per litre. Following the reduction, the price of petrol has decreased from Rs335.81 to Rs335.06 per litre.
The Ministry of Energy said the revised petroleum prices will come into effect from July 30 and will remain applicable until the next review.
