PESHAWAR: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a large-scale auction of confiscated imported vehicles under the Collectorate of Customs (Enforcement), Peshawar, offering a diverse range of cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and commercial vehicles to prospective bidders.
According to the official schedule, the auction will be held at the Custom House Peshawar on April 27, 2026, at 10:00am. The process will be conducted through a government-appointed auctioneer and will follow an as is, where is basis, placing the responsibility on buyers to assess the condition and legal status of vehicles prior to participation.
Authorities stated that the auction includes vehicles stored at multiple locations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Airport, Nowshera, Mardan, Abbottabad, Bannu, Kohat and Dera Ismail Khan, making it one of the most extensive enforcement-driven disposal initiatives in recent months.
The inventory features a wide spectrum of imported vehicles, ranging from economy cars to high-end SUVs and commercial units.
Notable entries include models such as Toyota Land Cruiser, Honda Vezel, Toyota Prius, Toyota Prado, Honda Accord and various Toyota Corolla variants. While some vehicles are reported to be in good or normal condition, several units are either partially damaged, missing keys, or subject to legal restrictions, including court and tribunal stays.
Officials have advised interested bidders to conduct thorough physical inspections before placing bids, as the condition and legal standing of certain vehicles may affect their usability and final valuation. Despite these constraints, the variety and scale of the auction are expected to attract significant interest from dealers and individual buyers alike.
The FBR noted that such auctions are part of its ongoing enforcement strategy aimed at ensuring transparent disposal of confiscated goods while contributing to national revenue generation. Authorities also cautioned that auction details, including schedules and vehicle status, remain subject to change, urging participants to verify all information independently before taking part.
