Canada urged its citizens not to wait for special flights and leave middle East through land routes via Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Canadian officials have warned that there is a risk of missile or drone attacks at any time and the security situation could deteriorate suddenly. Citizens have been urged to stay away from military installations and sensitive locations to avoid any accidents or dangers.
The US government has ordered its citizens to leave 14 countries in the Middle East on an emergency basis. The advisory, issued by the US State Department, states that US citizens in Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel including the West Bank and Gaza, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen should immediately leave their places of residence for security reasons.
This move has been taken in view of the increasing tension in the region and the current security threats, which has caused a wave of concern in the international community.
