More than two decades after becoming one of Bollywood’s most celebrated family dramas, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is once again making headlines, with reports suggesting that a sequel to the iconic film may be in development.

According to Indian entertainment media reports, filmmaker Karan Johar is considering a return to the family-drama genre following the success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Speculation surrounding a potential Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham 2 has generated significant excitement among fans of the 2001 blockbuster.

Reports indicate that the script for the project has reportedly been finalized, while production preparations may begin in the near future.

The film is also being described as a potentially large-scale production, although no official announcement has yet been made by Karan Johar or Dharma Productions.
