Former vice president of the United States, Dick Cheney has passed away at the age of 84 on Tuesday.

According to media reports, the former US vice president breathed his last after suffering a brief illness.

Cheney served as the 46th vice president of the United States from 2001 to 2009 under the Bush administration.
Punchbowl News reporter Jake Sherman reported the news in a post on X on Tuesday.

He wrote: “Richard B. Cheney, the 46th Vice President of the United States, died last night, November 3, 2025. He was 84 years old.”
