PESHAWAR: Gold prices in Pakistan declined for another day on Thursday, October 01, 2026, amid fluctuation in the international market.

In the local bullion market, 24K gold price has dropped by Rs 3,000 per tola to reach Rs 438636 per tola. The price of 22K gold is now Rs 401,449 per tola. The 10-gram rate of 24K gold is Rs 377,236 while 22K 10-gram is trading at Rs 345,866.

According to market experts, the decline is due to a fall in international gold prices and slight recovery of Pakistani Rupee.

In the international market, gold is trading around $3,650 per ounce. Gold rates have remained volatile in the last 10 days, after hitting a record high of over Rs 445,000 earlier this week.

Analysts say investors are booking profits which is causing the correction. Rates are based on verified data from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad sarafa markets and may vary slightly in local markets.

Earlier In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $43 to reach $4,191 per ounce. Due to the increase in the international market, the local market also saw a sharp rise.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 4,300 to Rs 441,636 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 3,686 to Rs 378,631. Silver prices also followed the upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs 20 to Rs 6,578 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 17 to Rs 5,639. Jewellers say that the recent rise in prices is due to the increase in international market rates, fluctuations in the dollar, and increased investor interest in gold.
