MUMBAI: One order of Chole Bhature placed by Indian actress Anushka Sharma for her husband Virat Kohli changed the fate of a small restaurant in Mumbai.

The restaurant named ‘Dilli Se’ was drowning in debt of about 18 lakh Indian Rupees in 2022 and the owners were preparing to shut it down.

During that time, comedian Abhishek Upmanyu praised the restaurant’s Chole Bhature on Instagram, after which Anushka Sharma ordered food from there for Virat and praised it on social media.

According to the owners, after Anushka’s post, there has been a rush of customers at the restaurant. Today, the business has expanded to four branches, where it is claimed that around 3,000 plates are sold daily and monthly sales have reached up to two crore Indian Rupees.
