ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s newly established airline, Riyadh Air is set to begin regular flight operations to Pakistan, marking a new development in air connectivity between the two countries.
The airline will launch daily flights to Islamabad from August 14, coinciding with Pakistan’s Independence Day, according to reports.
In addition, Riyadh Air will start flying to Lahore starting August 18 with three weekly services.
According to the reports, Riyadh Air will operate Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners for flying to and from Pakistan.
The introduction of Riyadh Air will further boost connectivity between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and could help enhance air traffic between the two nations.
The presence of Riyadh Air in Pakistan could open up a number of new opportunities in the country’s aviation sector as well as the travel services sector.
